Activity records, the statistics database, and user settings are unaffected.
Added playback activity recording. When the frontmost app matches the currently playing system media session, Hikage records playback start, a continuation confirmation every 30 seconds, and playback end. Each start or confirmation keeps the playback activity valid for at most 30 seconds, and the activity contributes to away detection, statistics, calendar candidates, and reminders. Hikage does not save media titles, artists, or progress, and requests no new system permissions for this feature.
Recent Events now labels playback activity as “Playback Started,” “Playback Continued,” or “Playback Ended,” and the menu bar shows “Playing” for a frontmost app with a live match. Advanced settings add an on-by-default “Record playback activity timestamps” toggle. Fixed calendar rules with multiple app or website sources splitting continuous activity by source. All sources now share one logical timeline, so source changes, Maximum Interruption, and minimum activity duration are evaluated across the whole activity. Pending fragments left by older versions are reconciled safely to avoid duplicate calendar items.
Historical activity backfill now uses a clear two-step start/end date selection and closes only after candidates are written to the local ledger. Navigating beyond the backfill boundary enters adjacent normal four-day windows, and directly choosing a date clears the old boundary. Backfills of up to 90 days, candidate materialization, and bulk hiding are processed in batches so the full history does not block the preview.
The four-day calendar preview now supports continuous horizontal swiping and updates the date as each full day is crossed. License write requests now carry a random nonce with a separate signature so the service can reject replayed signed requests. If a result is uncertain, Hikage confirms once with a newly signed envelope instead of resending the old one. Calendar integration rules now support multiple sources. A single rule can include several apps or websites, remove any non-final source, and still record the actual app or website matched by each candidate.
Calendar rule summaries and expanded descriptions now show multi-source text, such as two sources or the first two sources plus a total count, instead of relying only on the rule title.
Calendar automatic add now runs as a periodic background check. When calendar permission already exists, the plugin is enabled, and a rule allows automatic writes, Hikage checks the normal four-day window every 5 minutes and writes ready candidates without prompting for new permission.
Software updates now choose the appcast from Hikage’s language setting and the current app version. The update window can show cumulative release notes in the matching language, while older clients still use the fixed `appcast.xml`.

Fixed default calendar naming after adding more interface languages: Simplified and Traditional Chinese continue to use “日影”, while other explicit languages use “Hikage”.
Unified control styling across calendar rules, reminder rules, browser settings, plugin lists, module visibility, graph view parameters, and dropdown fields. Delete confirmations, collapsed summaries, slider-number controls, and object switches now feel more consistent.
Restored compact switch sizing in reminder editors, module visibility cards, browser settings, and expanded calendar rule rows, so these controls no longer look oversized.

Fixed delayed record-time updates after toggling foreground app recording: the timer stops immediately when disabled, resumes immediately when enabled, and is later reconciled by the recording boundary.
Reminder popovers now use a dedicated non-activating panel, so responding to a reminder no longer pulls focus back to Hikage's main window; positioning is also more stable when the menu bar icon is hidden.

New Features
Added the scheduled reminders plugin. Create focus, standing, and time-limit rules for all apps, categories, subcategories, selected apps, or websites counted separately. Current progress and recent records appear on a draggable orb canvas, while rules are edited together in the right-hand panel.
Focus reminders support automatic timing, a grace period for briefly leaving the activity, and short and long Pomodoro breaks; standing reminders can be logged manually; time limits can optionally warn in advance. macOS notification permission is requested only when you explicitly enable system notifications, and notification sounds can be controlled per rule.
Daily statistics and monthly statistics can now be toggled as plugins. Daily statistics, monthly statistics, graph view, calendar integration, and scheduled reminders are enabled by default on new or fully reset setups, without automatically requesting calendar or notification access.
Graph view gains a Minimum Usage Time filter. Categories settings now include Reset Categories with confirmation, while preserving compatible manual app classifications where possible.
Bands in App Flow and app segments in Usage Sunburst can now open the shared app context menu directly. The menu shows the target app name and Bundle ID at the top, making it easier to verify what you are about to classify, recolor, exclude, or use in a calendar rule.
Local, LAN, `.local`, and IP-based web services are now counted separately by non-default port, so `localhost:5173` and `localhost:8080` no longer merge into one item.
